yesterday I saw him
his smile was the same
we hugged for just a second
his smell was the same
I asked him how he's been
his voice was the same
he said that I looked pretty
and I felt the same

like the years hadn't passed us by
and nothing had changed
but so much time has passed us by
and everything has changed
and somehow everything is still the same

andas em frente. vais olhando em volta, esperando reconhecer alguma coisa. acreditas que, intuitivamente, vais perceber quando chegares ao teu destino. andas o dia todo, a noite inteira, até quase não conseguires manter os olhos abertos. de repente chegas ao fim do caminho. à tua frente, nada. não tens a certeza se é este o suposto destino, mas não vês alternativa. e avanças.

a um lugar perdido de pessoas
mas cheio de pedras novas e alcatrão

horas passadas sem um segundo de sono
e uma angústia no fundo do estômago
até à viagem de volta à vida
